Someone once wrote, "We don't have to gamble with our lives.  Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as, 'Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.'  Two of the Greek words in this verse mean 'assurance' and 'proof.'  Near the end of Paul's life, while he was imprisoned, he declared his unwavering trust in the God to whom he had entrusted his life.  He knew his Savior, so he knew his destiny was safe."
