Discipleship comes at a high price.  In Luke 14:28, Jesus warns us that we should not choose to follow Him until we count the cost.  Becoming His disciple involves great sacrifice, and many today are unwilling to pay the price.  We must be willing to loosen our grip on this life.  In fact, we WILL be willing to hold nothing back when we remember the price God paid.  Then the price seems about right--our hearts, our affections, our entire lives!
