A.W. Tozer once wrote, "That God has placed before His redeemed children a vast world of spiritual treasures, and that they refuse or neglect to claim it, may easily turn out to be the second greatest tragedy in the history of moral creation, the first being the Fall of man. For everyone who actually crosses over into the Promised Land, there are many who stand for awhile and look longingly across the river, and then turn sadly back to the comparative safety of the sandy waste of the old life.
