A.W. Tozer once wrote, "One serious and distressing problem for many who claim to be Christian is their feeling that God is far from them. It is hard to rejoice in the Lord when we are suffering from a sense of remoteness. It is like trying to have a bright, warm summer without the sun. We should never think of God as being spatially near or remote. God is infinite and in His infinitude, He swallows up all space. God is not contained: He contains." (2 Chronicles 6:18)
